The Committee supports the FAPA PAC strategic goal to increase the political influence of PAs in order to advance the profession’s philosophy and free enterprise. It works within the state and federal election process to further the goals of the profession through educating Academy members and non-members, legislators, and the general public on the importance of political activism and through the financial support of state candidates. The Committee works with the FAPA Legislative and Governmental Affairs Committee and other members of FAPA leadership to promote political involvement and assist in raising FAPA PAC funds as well as determining to whom those funds are allocated.
